Faulty Recruitment Process.

Majority of employers today use number of years of experience as pre-screening criteria.

I want to question, is quantity of experience more important or quality of experience. When hiring as defined by Warren Buffett - passion about business, aggressiveness, drive to deliver results and integrity are the only qualities needed in be successfull.

I strongly believe today corporate America is facing problem because while recruiting majority of companies / recuiters evaluate candidates quantitative, qualitative, analytical, communication, and leadership skills but fail to evaluate persons passion for business, their drive, and integrity. Following such policies what one witness is Narayan Murthy (Chairman and Founder of Infosys - over $10 Billion corporation) was refused employment by Wipro. And this is one of millions of such examples.

Now the question is when Corporate World is going to realize this and act on it? Considering the change might not be favorable to majority of leaders and veterans, the change might not ever happen ....
